I love Fall―and when it comes around, Mother Nature never fails to show off her spellbinding beauty with fiery-colored trees that decorate our landscape in tones of red, yellow and orange. As those colorful leaves separate from their branches and fall to the ground, they caress the earth in those glorious new shades. Then, it seems, the Fall Season really comes to life―and if you’re like me―so does your Fall-Food palate.

If you’re in the mood for seasonal cooking, what October yummies are available to satisfy those Fall-Flavor’d cravings? Take a look….

I am a 48-year-old woman with nothing more than a high school diploma and two years of college under my belt. During my short college experience, I took a creative writing class and received a D+ from my professor. I never considered myself a writer, nor had I given it much thought until I experienced a personal hardship. I escaped the pain by burying myself into something creative instead of crying all day.

I told myself, ‘Just get to 60,000 words and then you can say you’ve written a book.’ Initially, I began writing as therapy but soon discovered; I loved it. An alternate universe exists? Inside MY head? Why had I not seen this before?

My husband, daughter, and sister advised me that I should create a blog, so that’s what I did. I believe the key to life is trusting your heart and following your dreams, no matter how big or small they are. No one knows what treasures lie deep within yourself unless you’re willing to travel into unknown territory to uncover those hidden gems. For me, that is the case. I have a true passion for writing. I am grateful for this opportunity to share my thoughts with others. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I loved writing them.

I do have a book series that will come out soon. I will post a few chapters before it is published so my readers can have the first look.

XO Beverley Miles.
